Gary Kubiak to remain with Ravens in 2015

Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will remain with the team in 2015.

The news comes as somewhat of surprise, considering teams with head coaching vacancies had shown interest in Kubiak.

"It is flattering and humbling to be invited to interview for a number of NFL head coaching positions, and I greatly appreciate these opportunities," Kubiak said. "But I have decided to stay with the Ravens."

Kubiak guided the Ravens offense to a ranking of 12th in 2014 after finishing 29th last season.

"This is a special organization and we, like (head) coach (John) Harbaugh says, are building something great. I want to be a part of that and contribute in whatever ways I can."

Kubiak was the head coach of the Houston Texans from 2006-2013 before joining the Ravens.
