Dillashaw to face Barao at UFC 186

A rematch between UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw and Renan Barao is set to headline UFC 186 on April 25 in Montreal.

Dillashaw steamrolled the seemingly bulletproof Barao during their first meeting at UFC 173 in May of 2014, stunning "The Baron" with a massive, fight-altering overhand right midway through the first round. Barao was never able to recover from this concussive shot, and Dillashaw beat him pillar-to-post en route to a fifth round TKO.

The two top 135-pounders on the planet were initially set to rematch at UFC 177 on Aug. 30, but a disastrous weight cut forced Barao out of the bout. Dillashaw instead fought former Bellator bantamweight champ Joe Soto, handily finishing the late replacement via KO in the fifth round.

Barao eventually bounced back from his loss to Dillashaw with a third round submission victory over the game, but ultimately over-matched, Mitch Gagnon at a Fight Night event in December.
