Marko Marin joins Anderlecht on season-long loan

Marko Marin's brief spell at Fiorentina is over.

The German winger, who joined the club on loan from Chelsea in August 2014, has ended his stint in Italy in favor of a move to Anderlecht. Marin joins the Belgian side on a 6-month loan deal that will take him to the end of the season. 

Though his contract is still owned by Chelsea, reports earlier this week suggested that Anderlecht would look to make the transfer permanent at the end of the season.

Marin joined Chelsea in a £7-million deal from Werder Bremen in 2012, but failed to make an impact at Stamford Bridge and has spent much of his time with the club out on loan at various sides around Europe.
