VIDEO - Harden before Saturday's loss to Warriors: 'They ain't even that good'
The Golden State Warriors are very, very good, no matter what James Harden may think.
What Harden thinks, apparently, is that the Warriors aren't particularly impressive. Despite the Warriors leading the league with a 33-6 record and a ridiculous plus-11.7 average scoring margin, Harden tried to fire up his 29-13 Houston Rockets on Saturday at the expense of Steph Curry and company.
"They beat us already twice. They ain't even that good, man," Harden says in the video.
There's firing up your team, and then there's straight up telling lies. Harden couldn't exactly tell his charges that they're an underdog facing an uphill climb, we suppose, but the rest of the Rockets have probably taken a look at the standings.
The Warriors then proceeded to summarily dispatch the Rockets 131-106, the third time already this year Golden State has shown Harden that yes, they are that good. If Harden still isn't a believer, the two sides square off for a fourth time on Wednesday on ESPN.
