Philadelphia Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo will have a phone hearing on Monday for the hit that knocked Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang out of Tuesday's game.
Rinaldo's phone hearing with the Department of Player Safety will be held at 12:30 p.m. ET on Monday, Flyers general manager Ron Hextall told reporters on Wednesday. Hextall's comments have since been confirmed by the NHL.
The Flyers agitator drove Letang into the boards late in the first period of Tuesday's game. Rinaldo was given a major penalty for boarding and a game misconduct, while Letang left the game and did not return.
