No. 11 Kansas went into the Frank Erwin Center in Austin and took down 17th-ranked Texas by a score of 75-62 on Saturday afternoon.

Forward Cliff Alexander was one of four Jayhawks to score in double figures, finishing with 15 points and nine rebounds.

The game was within two points at the break before Kansas pulled away in the second half. The team minimized Texas's size advantage in the paint, and turned the ball over only three times.

Texas guard Isaiah Taylor had his best game since coming back from a broken wrist, scoring 23 points.

Next up for Kansas is a trip to Fort Worth on Wednesday to take on TCU. Texas will travel to Ames to take on Iowa State on Monday.
