Turns out the Standard Liege tifo depicting the beheading of former player Steven Defour had quite an impact on the Belgian international.

The Anderlecht midfielder didn't even last an hour in this match after he was sent off in the opening minutes of the second half.

Defour, visibly upset with the jeers and whistling from the home supporters, dribbled the ball over to the sideline and unleashed a shot into the section of fans who, presumably, displayed the most abuse.

The match official immediately showed Defour his second yellow card of the match.

The traveling Anderlecht support proceed to show their frustrations as they ripped out seats at the stadium and threw into the lower tier.

Players went over to calm them down and the game eventually resumed, with Standard Liege coming away with a 2-0 victory.
