Injured Rinne joins Predators for morning skate

Pekka Rinne is making strides in his return from a knee injury. Literally.

The Nashville Predators goaltender, who suffered the injury Jan. 13, participated in the team's morning skate and remains on track to return within the next one-to-three weeks.

"He looked good out there," head coach Peter Laviolette said of Rinne. "He's still getting better, we want be slow with it and make sure that he's 100 percent, but certainly to get him on the ice and get him involved in our practice, that's a positive sign."

Rinne remains the league's wins leader with 29, posting a .931 save percentage and three shutouts in 37 appearances prior to the injury.
