- Carla Esparza will defend her UFC title for the first time against No. 1 contender Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 185 on March 15. Esparza hasn't lost since 2011, when she dropped a split decision to current WSOF champion Jessica Aguilar. Jedrzejczyk is a perfect 8-0 in her career, with two of those victories coming in the Octagon.
- Kalinda Faria, who failed in her attempt to capture the WSOF strawweight title from Aguilar in November, will have a chance to start another long winning streak against Karolina Kowalkiewicz at KSW 30 on Feb. 21.
