Report: Maryland hires former Jaguars running backs coach Terry Richardson

Maryland has reportedly hired Terry Richardson, former running backs coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, to the same position with the Terrapins, according to Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans.  

Richardson served as running backs coach at Connecticut for 12 seasons and at Miami for two seasons before the Jaguars hired him in 2013. Richardson was fired after the Jaguars named Greg Olson their new offensive coordinator, according to ESPN's Michael DiRocco. 

Richardson replaces Andre Powell, who left for Pittsburgh.
