Curry's 51 points lead Warriors past Mavericks
Stephen Curry didn't break the record for threes in a NBA game Wednesday, but his 51-point outburst was the catalyst in leading the Golden State Warriors to a 128-114 come-from-behind win over the Dallas Mavericks.
Dallas started the game on a 24-4 run and led by as much as 22 points in the second quarter before the Warriors closed the gap before halftime.
Then, Curry started to cook.
He scored more than half his points (26) in the third quarter on 8-of-11 shooting, including six of seven from three. It looked for a time that Curry might top his own career-high 11 threes in a game (second all-time to Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall's 12), but the Warriors put the Mavs away in the fourth handily, outscoring them 27-16.
Curry's final shot chart included 10 treys.

His season-high 51 points was three off his career-high, and Curry joins his Splash Brother in some exclusive company.

The Warriors continued their mastery of the Mavericks, beating them for the fifth straight time dating back to last season. Tyson Chandler had a big night for the Mavs with 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting and 17 rebounds.
