Florida has completed its coaching staff by hiring Kerry Dixon to coach its wide receivers, the school announced Tuesday.

Dixon comes to the Gators after spending the 2014 season coaching running backs at FIU.

"Kerry is a young, energetic, up-and-coming coach," head coach Jim McElwain said. "He has strong recruiting ties throughout the state and as a former offensive coordinator he will bring value to the offensive game plan."

Prior to joining the Panthers, Dixon served as Florida Atlantic's running backs coach for two seasons, leading a corps that rushed for a school-record 2,215 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2013.
