Rams GM Les Snead on Sam Bradford: 'Deleting him is not the answer'

St. Louis Rams general manager Les Snead said Wednesday that offensive continuity is important for his team in 2015, suggesting quarterback Sam Bradford remains in the Rams' plans.

Bradford, who tore his ACL for the second time in less than a year last August, doesn't have a timeline for a return to the field, but has resumed running and jogging, Snead told reporters.

Asked to comment on a report that Bradford received permission to seek a trade from the Rams, Snead was dismissive.

"Deleting (Bradford) is not the answer," Snead said

Curiously, Snead hinted that he likes the idea of having a rotation of quarterbacks, similar to a baseball team's starting pitcher rotation. Very rarely in NFL history have teams strayed from the model of centering the offense around a single starting quarterback.
