Not long after Kurt Busch was suspended by NASCAR after a family court concluded he committed domestic violence against a former girlfriend, Jim Campbell, the vice president of Chevy Motorsports, announced that Chevrolet has suspended its relationship with Busch indefinitely.

"Chevrolet has suspended its relationship with Kurt Busch indefinitely," Campbell said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the events surrounding Mr. Busch and are prepared to take additional action if necessary."

Busch had been scheduled to race in the Daytona 500 on Sunday, where he would have started 24th in the field at Daytona International Speedway.
