The defensive ends dominated the 3-cone drill, as expected. Smith, Wagenmann and Clark all stood out above the pack with sub-7.1 times.
Wagenmann was a top performer in the vertical jump and shuttle drills, as well.
Smith has had a solid combine, running a 4.74 in the 40 and excelling in the broad jump.
Other Notable Performances
- Leonard Williams (DE), USC - 7.59 sec.
- Malcom Brown (DT), Texas - 7.84 sec.
- Danny Shelton (DT), Washington - 7.99 sec.
Leonard Williams struggled in the 3-cone drill and although 7.59 is not terrible for his size, he was expected to show off his agility. The big numbers that were expected from Williams have not come to fruition, but it's unlikely he has hurt his stock.
