- Jon Jones is set to tangle with quite possibly the hardest hitter in the 205-pound division when he risks his beard against the dynamite-packed fists of Anthony Johnson at UFC 187. Conversely, Johnson has never faced anyone with the kind of skill set owned by Jones, and may not be ready for that level of offensive wizardry.
- Daniel Cormier will look to pull himself back into the title picture against a suddenly relevant again Ryan Bader at a Fight Night event in June. Cormier failed in his bid for a title at UFC 182, while Bader ground down Phil Davis in his last outing at UFC on FOX 14.
- Liam McGeary makes his debut on the list after dethroning Bellator light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton in a thrilling scrap at Bellator 134 in late February.
