Typically, the notion of someone "falling asleep" on defense is metaphorical. In this case, though, Washington Wizards small forward Otto Porter may have literally fallen asleep.
Defending an inbounds play against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, Porter - ostensibly guarding Bulls wing Tony Snell - seemingly drifted off to dreamland.
He woke to find only an empty patch of court where Snell once stood.
