The signing of Jordan Cameron could mean the end for Charles Clay with the Miami Dolphins.
Miami has reportedly lost patience in trying to work out a long-term deal with Clay and the Dolphins expect him to become a Buffalo Bill, according to Tim Graham of the Buffalo News.
The Dolphins placed the transition tag on Clay while they attempted to work out a new deal. Miami still plans to leave him tagged, according to Graham, allowing them the opportunity to match an offer from the Bills or another team.
It's been no secret the Bills had been targeting Clay, as they've been acquiring offensive weapons all offseason. Adding Clay to Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy would give the Bills a formidable attack.
Miami would certainly miss Clay, as he is a versatile commodity from the tight end position, but adding Cameron gives the Dolphins a decent contingency plan if they do opt to let him go.
