Brady Quinn hoping to play well into his 30s after Veteran Combine

Brady Quinn had an ambitious goal during the Veteran Combine. 

He was out of football last season after being cut by the Miami Dolphins, but the quarterback believes if given a chance he could play well into his 30's. 

"Without a doubt, I feel great," Quinn said. "I'm 30, but I feel mentally as good as I've ever felt and as far as throwing the ball and understanding the game, I feel great. I had a great preseason with Seattle. I didn't get much of an opportunity in Miami, but I was 4-for-4 on the reps I got."

The pivot was a former first-round pick of the Cleveland Browns, but ultimately appeared in only 24 games during seven seasons with five different teams. 

Quinn cited Josh McCown's revival in the past two years as motivation to attempt a comeback, and although it's unlikely he will once again become an NFL starter, he just wants to make the most of a rare opportunity at a second chance.

"I just feel like you've got one life to live and you should live it the way you want, and I've really enjoyed playing football," Quinn said. "It's been great for my life and my family, and I never want to look back and regret an opportunity to continue playing."
