Marshawn Lynch to appear in Ludacris music video for 'Beast Mode'
Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is set to star in a music video for Chris "Ludacris" Bridges' new song "Beast Mode."
The rapper spoke about his friendship with Lynch during an interview with ESPN's "His and Hers" on Wednesday and revealed that the song was inspired by No. 24.
"The same way he's plowing down people on the field, I'm plowing down people in the music industry and all these rappers," Ludacris told hosts Michael Smith and Jemele Hill. "It's a song that has no hook, it's three minutes of just metaphors and just going in."
Ludacris said he and Lynch just wrapped up filming for the music video.
"I met him and literally within like two minutes I felt like we were family," Ludacris said. "I don't know what it is. He's real cool, real laid back guy. He was a fan. He was talking about how much his mom was a fan, so I told him I'm a fan of his.
"We inspire each other. That's why it was great for us to get together. When everybody sees the video, you'll think it's a great, great concept to put these two things together, music and football."
This isn't Lynch's first foray into acting. He recently appeared in a promotional video for the biopic, "Family First: The Marshawn Lynch Story." However, Lynch reportedly isn't happy with the quality of the film and doesn't want it released until changes are made.
