Floyd Mayweather's mouthpieces reportedly cost $25,000
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has never been shy about spending money, and that includes when it comes to protecting his pearly whites.
Mayweather's custom mouthguards cost around $25,000 to produce, according to TMZ Sports. Most people put their valuables in a bank or safe, but not Mayweather. His mouthpieces also often contain diamonds, gold flakes and $100 bills.

Dr. Lee Gause, a dentist from New York, has been known to fly to Las Vegas to create one for Mayweather before big fights.
"My career's gone on 19 years and I've been able to preserve my smile," Mayweather said.
Mayweather is preparing for his fight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2, so he'll certainly need an extra-special mouthguard for the mega-bout. Perhaps something with platinum would be appropriate.
