Kings without Cousins, Gay and Stauskas on Wednesday
Ed Szczepanski-USA TODAY Sports
The Sacramento Kings will continue to play out the string of another losing season without their top players, as DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay will sit out Wednesday's game against the Utah Jazz.
Cousins remains out with a sore right foot that sidelined him Tuesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves, while Gay is back on the shelf with a concussion.
Gay logged 38 minutes in Tuesday's victory after missing the previous three games due to the concussion he suffered last Monday, but is obviously not yet 100 percent.
Rookie swingman Nik Stauskas is also out with a mid-back strain. Stauskas, aka Sauce Castillo, was held out of the second half on Tuesday because of his ailing back.
