Bulls' Butler out Thursday with calf injury
The Chicago Bulls' return to full strength lasted all of one game.
After fielding a rare healthy lineup upon Derrick Rose's return in Wednesday's loss in Orlando, the Bulls will be without All-Star shooting guard Jimmy Butler against the Miami Heat on Thursday due to a left calf injury.
Butler didn't look any worse for wear on Wednesday, logging 37 minutes against the Magic.
The 25-year-old is enjoying a career year on the verge of restricted free agency, averaging 20.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals on a solid 46-37-84 shooting line, although his league-leading 38.8 minutes per game have been a concern for Bulls fans all season.
Thursday will mark the 17th game Butler has missed this season, as he's dealt with elbow, thumb and shoulder injuries.
