Blackhawks' Patrick Kane practices without non-contact sweater, could play Game 1
Mike DiNovo / USA TODAY Sports
At practice Monday, Patrick Kane's sweater is speaking volumes.
The Chicago Blackhawks star swapped out his non-contact white for a red at the team's skate, indicating he'll be a participant in all drills - contact included.
Kane, out since Feb. 24 with a broken collarbone, stirred speculation regarding his return to the lineup at practice last week by firing pucks with considerable force.
His status for Game 1 still appears cloudy, but the likelihood of him making an impact in the postseason is becoming more and more certain.
Joel Quenneville did admit it's possible Kane could suit up for the playoff opener.
Asked Joel Quenneville if Patrick Kane could play for #Blackhawks in Game 1 vs. Predators: "Yeah, he could." #thereyago
