Stephon Marbury honored with Chinese stamp

In the event you weren't aware just how big former NBAer Stephon Marbury is in China, behold this: the two-time All-Star point guard has been issued his own postage stamp by the Chinese government.

The 38-year-old Marbury, formerly of the Nets, Suns, Knicks and Celtics, has starred with the Beijing Ducks since 2011, winning three Chinese Basketball Association titles. He's also been honored with a statue, and a play based on his life, which ran in Beijing last fall.
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that people will be able to buy a stamp of me to mail packages anywhere in the world," Marbury told Marc Berman of the New York Post on Friday.
