Report: Former Bruins GM Chiarelli meeting with Oilers

Peter Chiarelli may not be unemployed for long.
The former Boston Bruins general manager, who was fired by the club on March 15, is meeting with the Edmonton Oilers, Elliotte Friedman and Mark Spector of Sportsnet report.
Friedman speculated that the position Chiarelli's meeting with the Oilers about is president of hockey operations, which is currently held by Kevin Lowe.
Craig MacTavish's GM position could also be a possibility.
The Oilers may be interested in a change to their front office after the team finished 24-44-14 and recently appointed Bob Nicholson as the new CEO.
