Mayweather-Pacquiao official, tickets to go on sale Thursday
Tickets to the "Fight of the Century" are finally set to go on sale.
With the long-gestating bout between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao seemingly in jeopardy after a dispute between Top Rank, Mayweather Promotions and the MGM Grand, the three sides were able to hammer out a deal Wednesday, finally making the fight official.
"We resolved all of the issues and now we're waiting for the paperwork," Top Rank chairman Bob Arum told Yahoo Sports' Kevin Iole following a conference call with Mayweather adviser Al Haymon and CBS CEO Leslie Moonves. "I said on the call that if what we agreed upon is in the paperwork we receive, we will sign it and the tickets will be released."
The outstanding issues reportedly involved allocation of tickets, hotel rooms and credentials, among a litany of smaller details.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday, according to ESPN:
Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao tickets go on sale to public Thursday starting at $1,500. Only 500 will be made available to general public.

"It was a battle but finally everybody came together," Arum said.
