Cavs fans react to Love injury news with hateful tweets toward Olynyk
Some Cleveland Cavaliers fans are taking Wednesday's news that Kevin Love will miss the next four-to-six months better than others.
Love underwent surgery to repair a dislocated left shoulder that came at the hands of Boston Celtics center Kelly Olynyk during Game 4 of Cleveland's sweep of the Celtics. It's a play that Love called "bush league" and one Love believes Olynyk did on purpose, something Olynyk's denied.
Olynyk was hit with a one-game suspension that will take effect to begin the 2015-16 season.
That punishment is nothing compared to the backlash he's receiving from Cavaliers fans. While there are plenty of crude and offensive tweets going Olynyk's way, a small corner of Cavaliers Twitter has taken a more clever, realistic and, frankly, hurtful approach.
One fan, in particular, had some creative ways he hopes Olynyk receives his karmic comeuppance:
That's cold.
