Chalk another one up for Golden State.

With respect to Budenholzer getting votes, here's a report from CBS Sports' Ken Berger:
Also, a reminder:
Myers is the architect of the league-leading Warriors, who won an NBA-best 67 games while boasting the league's best defense and second-best offense. Golden State will face the Memphis Grizzlies in the second round of the playoffs.
Myers' 2014 offseason was punctuated by two moves – one he didn't make, and one he did. Instead of trading Klay Thompson for Kevin Love, as was speculated, Myers signed one half of the Splash Brothers to a four-year maximum extension, worth a reported $70 million, and signed first-time NBA head coach Steve Kerr to a five-year deal worth up to $25 million, keeping Kerr out of the New York Knicks' hands.
Worked out, we'd say.
Thompson applauded the award, saying it made up for perceived slights of Kerr for Coach of the Year, and Draymond Green for Defensive Player of the Year.
