  • Perhaps the greatest career resurgence story in the history of the sport, UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will defend his title for the first time against Rory MacDonald at UFC 189 in July. Lawler won a razor-thin decision against the talented Canadian back in 2013.
  • Former 170-pound overlord Johny Hendricks kept himself in the title hunt at UFC 185 in March, scoring a dominant unanimous decision victory over the impossibly rugged Matt Brown. With Lawler otherwise occupied with MacDonald, Hendricks, the clear No. 1 contender, may be forced to wait patiently for a chance to regain his title.
  • World Series of Fighting welterweight champion - and noted leg-destroying maniac - Rousimar Palhares faces the toughest test of his title reign on Aug. 1 when he squares off with former Strikeforce middleweight titlist Jake Shields. Shields is a perfect 2-0 since signing with WSOF in 2014.
