Chiefs release quarterback Terrelle Pryor
Greg Bartram-US PRESSWIRE / Reuters
The Kansas City Chiefs have released journeyman quarterback Terrelle Pryor.
Pryor signed with the Chiefs in January after playing three seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He also spent last year's training camp with the Seattle Seahawks, before being cut prior to the season.
It will be difficult for the former Ohio State standout to find another spot on a 53-man roster, and he may have to settle for being a camp arm on a team lacking quarterback depth.
The CFL may be Pryor's best bet if he wants to continue his pro football career, attempting the same path as Doug Flutie or Casey Printers.
