Lawsuits against Pacquiao continue to pour in
"The Fight of the Century" may be over, but Manny Pacquiao is still under siege.
Pacquiao, his management team, and in some cases, Floyd Mayweather, are being subjected to a slew of class-action lawsuits after Pacquiao failed to disclose a pre-existing shoulder injury prior to his much anticipated bout with Mayweather on May 2.
Paul Mahoney, who filed a lawsuit in California, paid $99.99 for the underwhelming pay-per-view and referred to Pacquiao's participation despite injury as "The Sleight of the Century," according to a report by ESPN's Darren Rovell.
Following the bout, Pacquiao and his management team at Top Rank admitted the former multi-division world champion fought with a shoulder tear and could only function at about 60 percent.
So far, lawsuits have been filed in Nevada, Texas, Illinois and two in California.
