Colin Kaepernick comes to Tom Brady's defense
Tom Brady may be facing an impending suspension, but an unlikely ally defended the reigning Super Bowl MVP on Friday.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick tweeted about the aftermath of the Wells Report, offering his support for the New England Patriots' superstar.
No football in the world is going to help you win by 38! Let it go and let Tom be great! On to the 2015 season #7tormsComing

Kaepernick referred to the Patriots' 38-point margin of victory over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game, the contest where the Patriots allegedly under-inflated balls below the league's minimum threshold.
New England routed Indianapolis 45-7, and went on to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX. Brady won his fourth title and captured Super Bowl MVP honors for the third time in his career.
