Andy Murray keeps wedding ring tied in his shoelace during matches, keeps winning
After marrying wife Kim Sears in April, Andy Murray had a brand new problem to deal with on the tennis court - where would he keep his wedding ring?
Opting not to wear the ring during play like fellow tennis star Roger Federer, Murray went the creative route and chose to keep the ring tied in his shoelace.
Murray told Sky Sport Italia: "I won't lose it if it's tied to my shoelace. As soon as the match is over I put it back on."
Murray was first spotted sporting the platinum band on his shoe at the BMW Open in Munich and was seen wearing the band once again Wednesday during his victory over Jeremy Chardy in the second round of the Italian Open.
With 10 consecutive wins on clay including the BMW Open and Madrid Open titles, it's safe to assume that the ring won't be leaving the sneaker any time soon.
