Sometimes it's just too hard to stay away.
Alexander Burmistrov - a former first-round pick - who fled the NHL for his native Russia after miserable seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers and Winnipeg Jets is interested in a return to the big show.
New Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Yevgeni Medvedev, who signed his first NHL deal on Wednesday, told Igor Eronko of Sports.ru that his countryman is set to make his return.
Burmistrov played the last two seasons alongside Medvedev on Ak-Bars Kazan of the KHL.
The 23-year-old forward potted 20 goals and added 43 assists in 107 games across the two campaigns.
