Al Horford 'going to be OK' after banging knee in Game 2
The Atlanta Hawks are in tough against the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
Hawks' star center Al Horford sustained an apparent knee injury during the fourth quarter of Friday's Game 2 loss to the Cavaliers. Horford banged knees with Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert while setting a screen and had to be helped off the court.
Fortunately, Horford appears to be fine. He managed to return to the game, although it didn't make a difference in the Hawks' Game 2.
After the game, Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer reassured Hawks fans about his center's status (as relayed by James Herbert of Eye on Basketball).
"He had two or three different times where he got hit in the same spot," Budenholzer said of Horford. "The feedback from him after the game, I think that he's going to be OK. I think that it's just one of those things. A couple hits, a couple bangs, we're hopeful that he'll be fine going into Game 3."
Horford finished with 12 points and six rebounds in 30 minutes on Friday, posting a game-worst minus-27.
