Hawks lose Korver to right ankle sprain against Cavs
ATLANTA (AP) Atlanta's Kyle Korver has an ankle injury and might not return for the Atlanta Hawks against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals.
Korver left with about a minute remaining in the third period with a right ankle sprain and walked straight to the locker room. The Hawks said he was doubtful to return.
Then, less than a minute into the final period, center Al Horford also limped off the court. Horford leaned over, apparently struggling to remain on his feet, and then put a hand on teammate Mike Scott's shoulder before slowly walking off the court. Horford returned about 3 minutes later.
Atlanta forward DeMarre Carroll, who has a sprained knee, was a surprise starter.
