PHOTOS: Kanye West and Lil B take in Game 5 at Oracle Arena
With a trip to the NBA Finals on the line, the Golden State Warriors have The BasedGod on their side.
Bay Area rapper and purveyor of positivity Lil B showed up for Game 5 to support the home team Wednesday, news that probably didn't sit well with James Harden and the Houston Rockets. Harden was recently made the most recent victim of The Based God's Curse, and those who believe in such things surely believe Lil B's presence spells the end of Harden's season.
Lil B was about as shy taking pictures as he is about quoting himself, which made for plenty of photo opportunities.
The Warriors were also sure to embrace the emerging lecturer, using him to hype the game on social media.
It wasn't just Lil B who turned out for the huge game, as Warriors co-owner Peter Guber hosted Kanye West as his special guest. West wasn't impressed with the Warriors' cold start, but not even the ever-stoic Yeezus could help showing Steph Curry some eventual appreciation.
For as much as Kanye, Lil B, and Rev. Jesse Jackson were bringing positive vibes for the Warriors, the Rockets were likely hoping that national anthem singer Brian McKnight was in their corner. After all, the Rockets were down 3-0, and they'd surely like to start the series back at one.
