- Outside of an early flurry of violence, UFC middleweight conqueror Chris Weidman absolutely ran roughshod over MMA legend Vitor Belfort at UFC 187 in May. Now Weidman will likely face either Luke Rockhold or Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza in his next title defense.
- Speaking of Rockhold, the former Strikeforce champion completely decimated Lyoto Machida at UFC on FOX 15 in April, all but guaranteeing a shot at Weidman's title.
- Machida will look to re-climb the 185-pound ladder against Olympic judoka Yoel Romero at a Fight Night event in June.
- Jacare ran his UFC record to 5-0 with an easy demolition of short-notice opponent Chris Camozzi in their rematch at UFC on FOX 15. Unfortunately for the BJJ wizard, a win over Camozzi isn't likely to vault him into a title fight with Weidman.
