- Ronda Rousey will try to continue her reign of terror over the women's bantamweight division when she takes on Brazilian nemesis Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in August. The personal feud went full nuclear in the later stages of May when Correia made a tasteless suicide remark toward Rousey.
- Miesha Tate will look to climb her way back into a title shot when she takes on Jessica Eye at UFC on FOX 16 in July. Although Tate has already lost to Rousey twice in her career, the lack of divisional depth will likely allow her to get a third title shot at some point early next year.
- Considered too old for the women's bantamweight season of the Ultimate Fighter, Marion Reneau is 2-0 during her brief UFC tenure, polishing off Jessica Andrade via submission in her last outing at a Fight Night event in February. Reneau steps back into the Octagon against former professional boxer Holly Holm, who won her UFC debut against Raquel Pennington at UFC 184.
