VIDEO: Klay Thompson feeds Andre Iguodala for long-distance alley-oop
Never miss a shot against the Golden State Warriors.
Not only do opponents need to score on every possession just to keep up with the Warriors' prodigious offense - a nearly impossible task given Golden State's top-ranked defense - but they also need to do so because it's the only chance to stop them.
Miss, and you not only fall behind because the Warriors probably just scored, but because they're about to score again. Their transition defense is just that deadly, turning every forced turnover or defensive rebound into at least two points.
James Jones is having quite the Game 2 for the Cleveland Cavaliers, unexpectedly at that, but a missed second-quarter triple led to a highlight-reel bucket the other way. Klay Thompson, who's on fire to start Sunday's game, pushed the pace the other way off the miss, feeding Andre Iguodala for an unguardable long-range alley-oop.
The Warriors are unfair. Somehow, the Cavaliers are hanging tough and have kept things close entering the half, but that's a tenuous situation when every miss stands to be two-or-more the other way.
