Bowness: Bishop made 'right call' by not playing Game 4; remains day-to-day
Ben Bishop appears to have had a major say in regards to his availability for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.
Tampa Bay Lightning assistant coach Rick Bowness addressed the media following Wednesday's loss to the Chicago Blackhawks - in which Andrei Vasilevskiy drew the start - and seemed to intimate the decision was ultimately Bishop's to make.
Bowness on Bishop: "He's a great competitor, he knew he couldn't give 100 percent so he made (the decision). That's the right call."

The team later announced Bishop remains day-to-day with the undisclosed injury, while head coach Job Cooper said after the loss his number one goalie will be back at some point before the Cup is awarded.
Game 5 is scheduled for Saturday, giving Bishop an extra day to recuperate and prepare for a potential return to the crease.
If he is unable to go, however, it allegedly won't change anything for the Lightning:
Bowness: "We have as much confidence in Vasy as we do in Bish."
