Jiri Hudler lost his shoes, but found himself some hardware.
Hudler edged Pavel Datsyuk, Anze Kopitar, and his two linemates who received votes, Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau, to capture the 2015 Lady Byng Memorial Trophy.
He finished with the eighth-most points in the NHL, scoring 76, and took just 14 penalty minutes.
He joined Bob Hartley as winners Wednesday, and joked that he received a text from the Jack Adams Awards winning coach in Las Vegas, asking to make sure Gaudreau made it in before curfew.
Hudler took the award by 52 points over Datsyuk.
