Analysis:

Winslow is a prototypical player for today's NBA game and is regarded by most as the best two-way wing player in this year's draft. The 19-year-old averaged 1.8 steals as a freshman at Duke, illustrating strong on-ball defense that should allow him to immediately be able to guard the other team's best perimeter player when needed. Winslow also had a multitude of chase-down blocks in the half court and in transition, en route to averaging 1.2 blocks per game while at Duke. At 6-6.5 and 222 pounds, Winslow has the size and strength to hang with NBA small forwards and shooting guards, which should enable him to play alongside either Dwyane Wade or Luol Deng for the Heat. Also accustomed to playing with high-profile teammates, Winslow embraced a lesser role on a Duke team with Jahlil Okafor and Tyus Jones that ended up cutting down the nets in April. Offensively, he really excels at driving the lane and finishing in transition, and he also shot 42 percent on three-pointers at Duke. His 64 percent free-throw shooting is the main flaw in his game, but considering his natural stroke, that should improve with more reps under the tutelage of Miami's coaching staff.
