WWE's Kane 'happy to chokeslam' Dwyane Wade if he leaves Heat

And now we know how Pat Riley got the Big Three to take pay cuts and band together: The Miami Heat president has serious muscle in his corner.

With contract talks between the heat and superstar Dwyane Wade reportedly growing contentious, Riley may find himself with a wild card to play. Riley has been adamant the Heat want to retain Wade, who's been with the franchise for his entire 12-year career. While they're said to be offering less salary than Wade wants, they can also offer safety.

Kane - celebrating the 20th anniversary of his WWE debut as Isaac Yankem, DDS, on Friday (seriously) - was on the Marc Hochman Show in Miami on Wednesday and offered to assist the Heat in negotiations. Asked if he has a move the Heat could threaten Wade with if he leaves, Kane suggested using his finishing move on the 11-time All-Star and three-time NBA champion.

"I'd be happy to chokeslam him," Kane said. "If that's okay."

That wouldn't be Kane's first run-in with a sports figure. This is the same alleged 7-footer who hit Pete Rose with a tombstone piledriver and has chokeslammed the Phoenix Suns mascot.

Kane may want to tread lightly here. While the most likely scenario remains Wade and the Heat working out a deal, Hassan Whiteside would probably come to his personal lob-thrower's aid. Kane was a fine talent in his day - and a college basketball player at Northeast Missouri State - but at age 48, he probably shouldn't be rumbling in any shoot fights.
