Kevin Bieksa may not be leaving Vancouver after all.

ESPN's Pierre LeBrun reports that a deal for the 34-year-old defenseman between the Canucks and the San Jose Sharks fell apart.

From LeBrun:

There seemed to be disagreement over the year of the second-round pick involved, a source said; the Sharks wanted to send a second-rounder from 2016 and the Canucks wanted a second-rounder for 2015. And if the pick was going to be 2016, I think the Canucks wanted another, lower pick also thrown in to compensate for waiting a year on the second-round pick.

Bieksa told the Canucks on Friday that he was willing to waive his no-trade clause to move to San Jose and LeBrun says both teams could "get it back on track," but until trade talks are re-ignited Bieksa and his 241 career points will remain in Vancouver.
