Brad Richards' Original Six tour is making a third consecutive stop.
The Detroit Red Wings have awarded the veteran forward a one-year deal worth $3 million, according to various reports.
TSN's Darren Dreger notes that the contract will include bonuses that could up his salary to $4 million.
Richards won a Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks last season after being bought out of the final six years of his $60-million contract signed with the New York Rangers.
He chipped in with 37 assists in the regular season, and offered an additional 14 in the postseason.
