It's another element in what's been a busy weekend for the Lakers. On Sunday, they reportedly added defending NBA Sixth Man of the Year Lou Williams, while trade rumors flew regarding a potential acquisition of Roy Hibbert and a possible sign-and-trade of Jeremy Lin. There is also word that L.A. is shopping Nick Young.
The 30-year-old Bass is a 10-year NBA veteran who averaged 10.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game this past season. He started 43 of 82 contests for the Celts but became expendable with the signing of Amir Johnson.
