Chandler officially joins Suns, reportedly for 4 years, $52M

Tyson Chandler is officially a Phoenix Sun. The team introduced its new center Thursday at a news conference, after the 32-year-old signed a reported four-year, $52 million contract.
The Suns will be Chandler's sixth NBA address, and in landing him they get themselves a rim-protecting big man and veteran presence in the locker room.

While he comes with an injury history, there's the also the storyline of the Suns' highly regarded training staff. Chandler has missed 50 games over the last three seasons. He averaged 10.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks this past season while shooting 66.6 percent from the floor, and he's second only to DeAndre Jordan in field-goal percentage since 2010-11 with a 64.8 percent mark.
Speaking of Jordan, Chandler got in on the fun Wednesday night by basically saying he wasn't changing his mind in the same manner.
