VIDEO: Comedian interrupts Blatter's press conference by throwing wad of cash
Sepp Blatter was showered in money during an extraordinary protest before the FIFA president was able to begin his press conference Monday.
Moments after taking his seat, the world football governing body experienced a complete failure in security when comedian Simon Brodkin interrupted the Swiss international.
Brodkin, holding a wad of money in both hands, delivered a quick message as Blatter called for security to respond. He then threw the stack of reportedly fake money toward Blatter. The FIFA president left his seat and insisted he could not begin his press conference until the mess was cleaned up.
